Our technological infirmity

Author: ocracokewaves

A now sane individual who escaped the world of selling technology, now living in the rolling hills of the North Carolina Piedmont. I have been at one time or another, a farmer, a director for Apple, and a vice president at Wideopen Networks. I continue to pursue my love of photography and writing. I have great memories of boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and hiking the beaches along North Carolina's Southern Outer Banks where we lived for fifteen years.

I worked at Apple in sales for twenty years.  I mostly use Windows and Linux computers plus one lonely Mac when I have to.  I bought my wife a Chromebook for Christmas.  Here is why.

Afternoon Sunshine On The Dock By Raymond’s Gut

We had a gloomy Friday and 2.9 inches of rain on Saturday morning.  The clouds never left but we might get some of that valuable sunshine on the dock tomorrow.

A better digital life from the edge of Apple’s world

One of the reasons, I am no longer happy in Apple's world
One of the reasons, I am no longer happy in Apple’s world

I have been an Apple computer user since 1982.  While I continue to use a Mac, I am headed down a road which will lead to Apple not being a big part of my digital life outside of work.  There is the story.
