I have great memories of boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and hiking the beaches along North Carolina's Southern Outer Banks where we lived for fifteen years.
The Muggies, My Least Favorite Season
The Crystal Coast usually has great weather. However, we are now entering the muggies, that time from late July until sometime in September when fall rescues us. I can hardy wait for fall and the wonderful evenings on the beach.
